The Start-Up: Features businesses that have opened their doors within the last 18 months. Many businesses have been started in recent years as a reflection of the shift in the economy, which has left many people in search of self employment.

The goal of the “Start-Up” segment of The Business Bakery is to profile the business owner, other key people, within their company, and their core offering so that the public clearly understands them, which in turn increases the likelihood that they will engage in business with that company.

The Proofing Room: Just like in a bakery, once the dough is mixed, it must be allowed to rise in a room that has regulated temperature and humidity. The proofing room is a version of a business incubator, which offers a perfect environment to yield optimum results. Here you will see show segments that tell the story of businesses that benefited by visiting the proofing room.

Adding Yeast: Yeast in any recipe causes dough to rise up. This segment will profile businesses that are in their second stage of growth and beyond, and who are looking to rise to new heights. Here you will also see show segements that tell the story of those that added some yeast and won!

The Ingredient: Quite often, in order to take  business to the next level, a company is only missing one or two ingredients and in some cases a new ingredient may be needed to replace the existing one.  We will explore the journey that companies have taken to make changes, and feature those changes on our show. We can also assist companies looking to make changes.  Here you will be able to watch video segments on this exact topic. It may even become your story!

The Showcase - where the baked goods go on display! We will feature new businesses, new products, new concepts and/or new inventions. The showcase is all about displaying the best-of-the-best.
